Perhaps no series is better suited to a 1940s film-noir homage than ABC’s Castle, which goes back in time on February 6.
“Castle comes across a diary that links the events of a murder back to 1947,” explains exec producer Andrew Marlowe. “As he reads, he pictures himself as a ’40s P.I. and Stana [Katic, who plays Beckett] as a gangster’s moll who owns a nightclub. Our fans will fall in love with Stana all over again.”
As will Castle’s P.I. character, Joe. “They spot each other in the club and fall instantly,” says Katic. “As in most stories from the ’40s, it takes about four days for them to be crazy in love.” And yes, there is a kiss!
Adorable.
